Rigged up at 11 and there was no-one else there. The wind was not gusty as I thought it might be, so I rigged the biggest kit I had for the day. I planed on my 1st run, which was pleasantly suprising. I gybed and planed back to the beach to adjust my lines. It was quite choppy and at times I did a few little jumps, and had a reasonable morning session, but mostly underpowered just hanging on to the plane. Then the wind dropped by lunchtime so I came. The hayling kiters then started to arrive en masse, taking up all the parking spaces. I talked a bit and basically relaxed for an hour. Then I thought I'd better get back out there and do some more. I planed a bit more as the wind was now back to just about OK. I did some heli's as now the tide was nearly all the way out it was really shallow. A nice day.
